Homage to the thousand perfect Buddhas
Who, due to shared aspirations and a marvelous gathering of virtue,
Were companions even at the time of engaging in training,
And brought it to completion in this Fortunate Eon!

Śakyamuni Buddha, the great unacquainted friend to all beings, even to the gods, is the unequalled supreme teacher who embraced with his compassion this age of widespread strife and the five degenerations. First, from the perspective of his ordinary disciples he took birth in accordance with the five visions, in the supreme place renowned as Lumbini.

In that supreme place, in accordance with the fortune of the merit of beings, our root guru H.E. Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, through his unsurpassed compassionate wishes and profound activity, has built Pal Tubten Shedrub Ling Monastery, a sublime and supreme field of merit. This magnificent temple holds the primary cast metal statues of the Buddhas Of The Three Times sixteen feet tall surrounded by cast metal statues of the Thousand Buddhas eighteen inches tall, all made from copper gilded with gold. In the upper front niches there are statues of the Seven Buddhas.

On the second floor there is a shrine room with statues of the Eight Close Bodhisattva Sons. There are additional shrine rooms for the deities of the well-known Guru’s Heart Practice That Dispels all Obstacles, Spontaneous Fulfillment Of Wishes, and Tārā cycles from the Profound Treasures of Chokgyur Lingpa. One shrine room holds all the deities from the outer practice of the Guru’s Heart Practice That Dispels All Obstacles: the Dharmakāya, Sambhogakāya, and Nirmanakāya emanations; the Twelve Emanations Of Guru Rinpoche; the Four Deities Who Dispel Obstacles; and the Kama and Terma protectors. This shrine room also holds the Thirteen Deities Of The Oral Instructions from the inner practice, The Spontaneous Fulfillment Of Wishes. There is an additional shrine room with the Twenty-One Tārās from the Outer Tārā Practice according to the Profound Essence. On the top floor of the temple there is a library containing scriptures from across many centuries. To the right and left of the main monastery are courtyards with rooms for the monastic sangha.

The temple was recently completed due to the generosity of faithful students from many different countries. The Inauguration and Opening Ceremony will be hosted by H.E. Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche with many high lamas, esteemed guests, the sangha of monks and nuns, and many lay practitioners in attendance.

May everyone rejoice in this noble and virtuous event and dedicate the merit for the benefit of all sentient beings!
